Dear Board of trustees

What do you have against bucket hats? This is a safe way to insure that stratford primary students are not endangered with skin cancer. Listen to my three positive, believable reasons why we, stratford primary need bucket hats.

First and foremost, who cares about whose hat is cooler or that is a cheap version. All those cat fights would brush away only if only if we were informed with bucket hats. There would be less bullying. Stratford primary would be a friendlier place.

Secondly, some people, well most people believe bucket hats are lame, uncool, idiotic. Well that can change. Why not design our own pattern. It would be creative to get felts for each class. Students would have a chance to be creative not just on paper but also on bucket hats. That would make our school more creative.

Thirdly but not finally, do you want to have a butface? Everyone knows what type of hats we wear, flat caps. They don't even protect your skin. Sun burn is cancers best friend. If you end up with cancer, you end up with a butface. Its up to you if you want to have a butface or a healthy casual face.

Finally, now you know why bucket hats need to be informed in our school. Reason 1. No but faces lurking around. 2. Stratford primary will be a friendlier place. 3. Our creativity is important. Its not like bucket hats will hurt anyone. will they?

what do you know about cicadas?

these suspicious insects live underground for 17 years then they show themselves. cicadas perform into their adult body as soon as they are above land. Sitback and be prepared for the journey about cicadas.

Mating call

After the male cicadas finish performing into their adult body they begin to search for their ladies. The females make a clicking sound that so easily attracts male cicadas that a cicada would follow a human click anywhere. Thats how male cicadas find there ladies.

Different Species

There are 42 different species. But not all types live underground for 17 years some species live underground for 3 to 5 years. Some are not yet discovered.

Predators

The cicadas main predators in New Zealand are tiny wasps that infest their eggs. Predatory beetles attack nymphs and their enemies are fungal diseases. Adult cicadas also may be taken by birds or caught in spider webs.

So now you know more about cicadas so next time you see a cicada don’t scream and freak out just remember they are no harm.
